Flat Stanley in Poland!

Flat Stanley helped bake Easter cookies while in Poland!

Hello!

I'm sending few pics from Stanley first trip :) Unfortunately weather wasn't good but luckily he enjoyed Łódź :)

He visited University of Łódź, Faculty of Philology where I'm studying. It's well designed building in modern style, where thousands of students from Europe can study.

Then we were walking down the streets and took pictures of wall murals. Łódź has over 40 murals located in all city and every year there coming artist with their new projects from all over the world. One mural shows our most famous pianist from Łódź - Artur Rubinstein.
The last thing we saw  is Parish of the Cathedral of St. Alexander Nevskiy It was built owing to the immense financial support of the local factory owners and the most prominent city inhabitants who adhered to Judaism, Protestantism and Catholicism.

Yesterday we visited II LO in Łódź (my old High School), where students organised Japanese Day. It's taking place every year and many people coming to meet cosplayers, watch karate show and learn more about Japan, China, Korea and Vietnam. At this special day guest can try traditional food, draw beautiful sketches, play in best video games, put on traditional japanese clothing, take part in many language lessons and learn how to fold origami :) It was such a good day!
