Flat Stanley in Bucharest, Romania!

Hello!

I am coming back to you with the first pictures of Stanley's adventures in Romania!

After he arrived to Bucharest it was raining and a little cold, so Stanley has chilled with Goofy and The Eye for a couple of days

As soon as the weather got better we have went for a (rather long) visit around the city! Here, we are entering the subway tunnels &#X1f60a (you can search for the station we are at and see what region on Bucharest Stanley live in now, here: http://www.andreibartesch.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Harta-metrou-Bucuresti.jpg

The subway again! I am a big fan of it and i believe that Stanley liked it too &#X1f60a
10:45 am, previous train had left 2:30 minutes before

At the mall! &#X1f603 Stanley didn't want any KFC, but he wanted a picture with it and i couldn't say no
Same story with the Starbucks, we looked at the people a little bit and took pictures with it

Emigrate to United States of Fun! He and i alike thought it was funny since he came from the US

The mall! &#X1f60a Baneasa Shopping City! (It's really pretty large, almost as large as a small town)

And IKEA! My favorite store in the world, and I believe Stanley liked it too and IKEA flags

Stanley found a nice tree to chill in in front of IKEA

Stanley and Bucharest's forgotten beauties (here we had just got out of the subway station "Gara de Nord" (North Train Station) - look for it on the subway map below! &#X1f603)

Stanley and the same building as in the previous picture, now closer. You can still read "Cinema" on it and part of the name. You can look for "Cinema Dacia" on Google to see more (and maybe you'll find some info in English)

Stanley and the headquarters of the "Bursa" newspaper (Bursa=Stock Exchange). By this time we were already on our way to... the Postcrossing meeting!

The tea house where we've met for the Postcrossing meeting was on this street

"La un ceai"! The tea house where we've met

Hundreds and hundreds of postcards that a friend (and Postcrosser) brings with him at every meeting in a very nice suitcase! (see it in the next photo)
