Flat Stanley in Norway!

Flat Stanley visited Oslo and we took him around.
He was a part of a Messianic Jewish Passover feast.
He also saw the first flowers in the local forest.

Flat Stanley visited some of the Oslo museums. He learned about the ship Fram which was the only one in the world used to reach both North and South poles.

He also visited a maritime museum and saw the statues of major Norwegian explorers.

Flat Stanley also saw a statue devoted to the seamen who fought in world war II,

saw a Kon-Tiki museum about Tor Heyerdahl's trips with the ships Kon-Tiki and Ra,

saw an old post office,

patted a muskus ox,

saw the skis used by Fridtjof Nansen,

saw a Norwegian boat Ilias, a hero of several films for kids.

He also thought about joining the new expedition to the land of Franz Joseph but maybe next time :)
